I began training dogs at the age of 15, which sparked a lifelong passion for working with and caring for animals. Today, I am the proud owner of three dogs and have also fostered two others. Like many devoted pet owners, my dogs are truly at the center of my world.

I am a proud alumna of Ball State University, Class of 2008, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in both Criminal Justice and Psychology. Following graduation, I spent more than seven years working at the Madison County Courthouse, serving first as a Victim Advocate and later as a Case Manager. This experience strengthened my skills in leadership, communication, and compassionate care.

In 2015, I chose to follow my passion for dogs and made a meaningful career change by joining Happy Dogs in July of that year. Just six months later, in January 2016, I was promoted to General Manager. My understanding of dogs comes naturally and has continued to grow throughout my years at Happy Dogs. Each day brings new learning experiences, inspired by the dogs themselves.

I care for every dog at Happy Dogs as if they were my own, while also striving to provide exceptional service and peace of mind for our pet parents. I truly believe that a happy dog leads to a happy life.

Overall, my journey—from early dog training to a fulfilling career at Happy Dogs—has been driven by a genuine love and deep understanding of dogs. I am committed to delivering outstanding care for every dog and ensuring a positive, trusted experience for their owners.
